It's a long list, but Sangiovanni-Vincentelli has worked with some of the world's top technical organizations. First, he is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
He is or was consultant to many U.S., Japanese, and European companies, including General Motors, HP, IBM, Intel, ATT, GTE, GE, United Technology, Kawasaki Steel, Fujitsu, Sony, Hitachi, Alcatel, BMW, ST Microelectronics, Magneti Marelli, COMAU, Pirelli, Daimler-Benz, and Ericsson.
Sangiovanni-Vincentelli is scientific director and founder of the Project on Advanced Research on Architectures and Design of Electronic Systems (PARADES), a European group of economic interest. Also, he's on the advisory boards of the Lester Center of the Haas School of Business and for the Center for Western European Studies.
He's a member of the Board of Directors for Cadence, UPEK, Sonics, Gradient, and Accent, the latter being an STMicroelectronics-Cadence joint venture he helped create. He is a member of the High-Level Group of the EU Artemis embedded-system Platform. And, he served as scientific advisor for the U.S., Italy, Denmark, and Singapore.
