SBC Supports Both PCI And ISA Slots

Oct. 1, 2000

Targeted at the computer telephony and industrial automation industries, the NuPRO-770 is said to be the first single board computer (SBC) based on the Intel embedded 810 chipset that supports both high-drive ISA and PCI buses. The board supports both 66 and 100 MHz bus speeds and has two 168-pin DIMM sockets that hold up to 512 MB SDRAM. An IDE interface supports up to four EIDE devices and flash disks. Two USB ports, a floppy interface, parallel port and two serial ports (RS-232 and RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 selectable), and standard 10/100 Base TX interfaces round out the features.
Designed to operate up to 60°C, the NuPRO-770 can be used in harsh factory and process environments. It includes full monitoring functions, too, such as temperature, voltage, fan speed, and chassis intrusion and supports wake-on-LAN and alert-on-LAN functions. Price of the NuPRO-770 is $299/10 (no CPU or memory) available from stock.
