Future of Memory and Storage Conference 2026
Welcome to Electronic Design's coverage of the Future of Memory and Storage Conference. It will be a busy show this year, with lots of announcements about AI data centers, new SSD technology, and more. We will be adding to this page after the show is over with content we recorded and saw at the show. We hope to see you there if you can make it.
Editorial: FMS Continues to Evolve
I had a fun conversation with Objective Analysis' Jim Handy about FMS 2026 and how it has evolved from the Flash Memory Summit to the Future Memory and Storage conference. Jim will be one of the many keynote speakers, and I will be there to report on that as well as on other announcements, products, and technologies at the show. The video of this conversation is available below in our Multimedia section.
This FMS page will be updated as we post new content during and after the show. If you got here early, most of the content was prepared before the show.
The show and the technology is much different from when FMS started 20 years ago. It has weathered fire and moved from a flash memory event to covering all the memory and storage technologies. I look forward to covering the show and providing you with details and insight.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.
I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.
